Just for Kids

  • Activities

It’s great to be a kid when you have the activities department of Bay Harbor Yacht Club at your service.  Kids love to have fun and that is what Bay Harbor Yacht Club is providing.  Their most popular program is Kidz Club.  This year there were many adventures for the kids to enjoy -  trick-or-treating through downtown Bay Harbor, creating and eating bugs at Camp Bay Harbor, the annual county fair, and Dr. Seuss came to town.

Sports Camp is another program for the kids.  Playing soccer, tennis, golf, and on the beach, this program is a great way for kids to stay active all summer long!

It’s coming!
By Delaney Carlson

The 5-K Run and Walk is coming! It’s on Saturday May 17, 2008 @ the Village at Bay Harbor.

If you are a child 8 and under there is a special race for you! Every child gets a medal and it is a lot of fun.

How would I know? Why listen to me?  Well, because when I was eight-years-old, I ran in the children’s race. I had a ton of fun! You would like it.

Also, 3rd-5th grade girls can join a program called Girls on the Run. Girls on the Run is an interactive running/life skills program for young girls. The curriculum is designed to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of respect and healthy living. It’s too late to sign up for this year's spring Girls on the Run program, but make sure to check it out in the fall. And only a certain amount of girls from each town can get in. So be ready to pounce on the chance.

So run in the race today! For more information contact (231) 439-2700 or through info@bayharbor.com.

"Amy, the kids and I view Bay Harbor as our end destination for family reunions, special moments, rest and relaxation, incredible sunsets, clear air and water, and remarkable friendships. The entire setting is incomparable in our view anywhere in the world."
