Front Desk Manager – Bay Harbor Village Hotel & Conference Center

Manage the business performance of the front office, maintaining the highest integrity of customer service and guest safety. Responsible for all aspects of the front office including: scheduling, ordering, payroll management, reservations, and special requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage front office ensuring the highest quality resort experience and superior guest satisfaction
  • Empower staff to ensure all guest service issues are resolved prior to the guest leaving
  • Anticipate supplies and materials needed on a daily basis
  • Implement new ideas in concepts, policies, and procedures
  • Hire, supervise and discipline staff according to SOP, under Hotel Manager’s direction and approval
  • Prepare staff schedules, allowing for appropriate service while controlling labor costs and overtime
  • Develop team members through appropriatetraining, coaching, and mentoring to ensure strong operational performance
  • Motivate team members and promote empowerment
  • Work closely with Hotel Manager to coordinate proper yield management
  • Lead with positive attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to excellence
  • SMS Host administrator for rooms’ division management (i.e. rates, packages policies and procedures)
  • Manage owner and guest relations working closely with Hotel Manager
  • Perform general cashiering and registration functions
  • Log all staff absenteeism, tardiness and vacation time
  • Monitor special requests for arriving guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of combined prior Front Desk and Supervisory experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to accurately forecast rooms revenue, occupancy and average rates
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers which will require levels of patience, tact and diplomacy
  • Listen and collect accurate information that will be essential to resolve conflicts

Front Desk Agent – Bay Harbor Village Hotel & Conference Center

Front Desk Agents are an integral part the hospitality industry. The front desk is the first impression guests will experience about our property, our Front Desk Agents are therefore, the ambassadors of Bay Harbor.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for guests and owners
  • Take room reservations
  • Check guests and owners in and out
  • Interact with unit owners and guests
  • Exhibit proper etiquette on the phone and in person
  • Assist all guests upon arrival and departure
  • Have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication
  • Interpersonal skills for interacting with guests for problem solving
  • Maintain clean and professional appearance Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Must have proficient computer skills

Experience:

  1. High School education or equivalent
  2. Prior experience in Customer Service or Guest Services is preferred
  3. We offer training for those with no prior experience

General Maintenance – Full-time – Bay Harbor

Maintenance Associates will be customer service oriented, professional and friendly, have great attention to detail, be hard-working, knowledgeable of building and property general maintenance and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Arrange furniture and equipment for the purpose of providing adequate preparations for special events
  • Clean district buildings and grounds areas as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of providing effective working environment, preventing damage and/or limiting liability exposure
  • Prepare written material for the purpose of documenting activities
  • Transport a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at the job site

Additional Requirements:

  • Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 80% walking, 15% standing
  • Requires ability for lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, climbing and balancing, bending, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling
  • Operating equipment used in skilled trades, power and hand tools
  • Adhering to safety and security practices, handling cleaning solvents and/or necessary repair products (i.e. paint, adhesives)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Maintain clean and professional appearance, wearing proper uniform

Experience:

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Prior experience and/or being able to follow instructions is beneficial

Bay Harbor Swim and Fitness Club Attendant – Bay Harbor Village Hotel & Conference Center

The Swim and Fitness Club includes a seasonal outdoor competition length swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, cabanas, fitness center, and associated facilities. Associates are responsible for ensuring the safety and satisfaction of members and guests.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide each guest/owner with exceptional customer service
  • Greet and Register guests in and out
  • Stocking supply of clean towels and pool furniture
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness of pool area, fitness equipment, indoor and outdoor facilities

Additional requirements:

  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand, squat, kneel, reach, and pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain professional appearance and behavior
  • Must be minimum age of 16, with valid driver’s license

Housekeeper – Part-time Seasonal – Bay Harbor Village Hotel & Conference Center

Housekeeping Associates will be:

  • Passionate about making the guest’s stay enjoyable and comfortable
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Available to work weekends and holidays
  • Hours start at 8:30 am and stay until we get all work finished for each day

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter.
No experience required; we have a thorough training program.
