Music on Main welcomes Katherine Ryan Trio

From the swingin' jazz tunes of New Orleans, the bossa nova of Brazil, to the French-jazz music on the streets of Montreal, and the Boogie Woogie/blues of Chicago, the Katherine Ryan Trio takes inspiration from the places they’ve traveled to and the people they’ve met. They are comprised of seasoned musicians: vocalist/saxophonist Katherine Ryan, vocalist/pianist Steve Sandner, and vocalist/guitarist Owen James. Individually, they are involved in a variety of projects and have played in top jazz venues throughout the United States. Together, their fresh harmonies and soulful interpretations create a memorable experience for all.

Hey Northern Michigan - show us your talent on Thursday Evenings!  Along with our scheduled professional musicians, we're inviting amateur entertainers to come on down to the Village and set up for a Thursday night show of their talents. We invite all acts from music, juggling, dancing, comedy, theater and singing.
