Drone Policy

Bay Harbor Drone Policy
Out of safety concerns for guests, employees, community members
and resort property, Bay Harbor Company prohibits the operation
of unmanned aerial systems, or aerial drones by the general public,
including recreational users and hobbyists on or over Bay Harbor
property. Likewise, commercial use is also prohibited on Bay Harbor
property, except in limited circumstances when an approved Bay
Harbor operator has obtained an FAA exemption and received
written permission from Bay Harbor Company. This prohibition
includes drones for filming or videotaping, use associated with
special events, as well as any use by media or journalists operating
on or above Bay Harbor property. For drone photography, contact
an approved Bay Harbor drone operator provided in the list.

Any authorized operation of aerial drones will be governed by
Federal Aviation Administration rules and regulations, local
law enforcement, as well as policies established by Bay Harbor
Company.
Flying a drone in a reckless manner is a violation of Federal law and
FAA regulations and could result in civil fines or criminal action.
If you see someone flying a drone in a reckless or irresponsible
manner, call local law enforcement.

Thank you for your cooperation.
