Contact & More Info

We are excited to celebrate our 23rd year and host artists from across the country with a true festival atmosphere celebrating the arts. Held along the waterfront on our Marina Lawns, the Arts Festival will take place both Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 5pm and have a collection of fine, juried artists as well as a selection of green market artisans.

We will have great live music during the Arts Festival including:

Saturday, July 22nd: 1pm - 4pmKanin Wren:  With a heart of gold and a voice like sunshine, Kanin is taking over one fan at a time. Nashville Songwriter International Association claimed her first co-write is “one to watch”. Local Spins also named her an Artist to Watch for 2022. Even Pure Michigan has embraced the native songbird, featuring her track “Torch Lake Breeze” on their Summer playlist. She has the versatility of Taylor Swift, the lyrical style of Olivia Rodrigo, with the All American feel of Carrie Underwood. With over 170 shows under her belt, Kanin is coming to your favorite spot soon.

Sunday, July 23: 1pm - 4pmMake Believe Spurs: Spurs' influences include the Avett Brothers, the Byrds, the Black Keys, Shovels and Rope, and singer-songwriters like Nathaniel Rateliff and John Prine. Their sound and setup is versatile, ranging from stripped down acoustic performances to electric-driven romps for the dance floor. You'll hear a fun mix of originals, covers, and original sounding covers.

Fun Activities during the Festival:

Saturday, July 22:  10am - 5pm: Cottage Pottery Travel Studio will be on hand for adults and kids alike to create their own piece of pottery, either by glazing or using acrylic paints!  There will also be "grab-n-go" kits available for you to take home something special home to create.

Saturday, July 22 & Sunday July 23: 10am - 5pm:  Wingin it Fairy Hair will be here to bring a little "tinsil" and sparkle to your hair.  Children love the fairy fun hair, and actually adults do too!

Saturday, July 22 & Sunday 23: 10am - 5pm:  Chris Laporte, Caricature Artist from Grand Rapids who has drawn over 100,000 people in the last 21 years of drawing. Stop by and get a portrait drawn that will last a lifetime!
