Christkindlmarkt 2018

The Slifco Electric Christkindlmarkt in The Village at Bay Harbor is a two-day event taking place December 15 and December 16. Themed around the Crooked Tree Arts Center performances of The Nutcracker Ballet, but a world unto itself is the Cristkindlmarkt. In The Village, the popular 10 am “Santa Fun Run” will get the event started. Santas, elves, Grinches and the like will run, hop, sled and slide through the Village. There are 2 runs – a 3k for the adults, and a 1k for the kiddos. The shops will be open, artist booths set up in stores, and Father Christmas will be there for photos, greeting families. The Village restaurants will be serving authentic-styled German food and drink, and there will be music and merriment a-plenty. The Village will be appropriately dressed in lights and finery to celebrate the season.
